Jharkhand News: City dwellers will be able to see more than 80 vintage cars and bikes at Gopal Maidan in Jamshedpur. The second edition of the Classic and Vintage Car and Bike Rally will be organized on February 25 and 26 at Gopal Maidan. People will be able to see old vehicles in this program organized by Tata Steel.

MD of Tata Steel will flag off the rally

It was launched by Tata Steel in 2022 as part of efforts to preserve and nurture the country’s sports, arts and culture. Many vehicles have reached here from other cities and states to participate in this program. Last time where 40 vehicles were entered, this time more than 80 have been entered. The vehicles will be displayed at Gopal Maidan on February 25, while T V Narendran, CEO and MD, Tata Steel, will flag off the rally on February 26 in the presence of other senior company officials and key vendor partners from Jamshedpur.

Austin 7 car will be the center of attraction

This year, the oldest 97-year-old 1926 edition Austin 7 car will be the center of attraction. It is also known as Baby Austin among classic and vintage vehicle enthusiasts. At the same time, the youngest car to participate in the second edition of the rally will be the 1983 Fiat. Vehicles are coming from Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal including Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Chaibasa, Kolkata, Barajamda and Keonjhar. This program is also being organized as part of the Founder’s Day.
