‘Dhamaka’ Movie Review: The films of Telugu actor Ravi Teja, popularly known as Mass Maharaja, are really mass entertainers and keep on banging at the box office. Mahesh Babu and Ravi Teja are two such actors whose Hindi remake of the film is definitely being made late. Ravi Teja’s films which have been made in Hindi are prominent. SS Rajamouli’s films Vikramarkudu (Rowdy Rathore), Kick (Kick), Ravi Teja’s comedy timing, dialogue delivery and action is not lacking and hence most of his directors have made more than one film with him.

Ravi Teja’s name in this film is Vivek Anand Chakraborty. But he is in double role. His second incarnation is Swami. The first one is the son and heir of a very big business tycoon, while the second one is a common man born in a simple family. The business tycoon is about to die and he wants to die by handing over his property to his son but a certain villain is blocking the road in his way. As Vivek Anand and Swami fight through the confusion, the villain is punished for his actions and the story ends happily. There is also a romance in the middle of this story, 5 songs, half a dozen action comedy scenes and some great stunts are also included.

Ravi Teja is doing what he has mastered. Totally in being the hero of the spicy movie. As soon as they come, they thrash the goons with the silencer of the motorcycle, that too in a funny manner. In this type of action comedy, either Akshay Kumar or Salman Khan get together in Hindi. Ravi Teja should not be praised because there are stunts beyond logic in the film but they are performed with great conviction. The beautiful heroine of the film Sreeleela is becoming a doctor in real life.

His mother is also a doctor. Srileela’s style is similar to the heroines of South India. They have to dance well with the hero, sing songs and do romantic/emotional scenes. Srileela’s screen presence is good and because of this she will get more films. Dhamaka has become a hit, so his career will also take off. Rest of the actors are also in good roles like Sachin Khedekar, Tanikella Bharani, Jairam, Rao Ramesh. Most of these actors were also present in Allu Arjun’s film “Ala Vaikunthapuramalu”, so sometimes there is confusion.

There are 5 songs in the film and all of them are super hits. Even the tunes of Mass Raja and What’s Happening are tremendous, just like Ravi Teja’s mood. If you leave two or four scenes, the film keeps on moving continuously, it does not get bogged down anywhere. Cinematographer Karthik’s work can be called wonderful. Despite being a commercial film, the lighting balance in the film has been kept good. Even for a moment, no color is visible anywhere in the film which can reduce the happiness of the film.

Good lighting has also been kept in the scenes inside the office. Editor Praveen Pundi has also kept the pace of the film in the right balance. Despite the action sequences coming in between, they control the pace of the film and do not let it slow down. Dhamaka is a masala film. Don’t look at it with the expectation of intelligence. He is an entertainer in the real sense. Must see.
