Appointment Letters to newly Recruited Surveyors: Following the commitment of the state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to provide government jobs to the youth, Land and Water Conservation Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Heyer handed over appointment letters to 18 newly recruited surveyors in the department.

While handing over the appointment letter during a simple but effective function at Punjab Bhawan, Meet Hare said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s commitment to the people of the state is that the government is providing employment opportunities to the youth at the local level. Congratulating the newly appointed workers, the Minister of Land and Water Conservation asked them to perform their duties with full diligence and honesty because the survey work they do is the basic basis of any construction work and if done correctly, the work can also be implemented properly. He also said that wherever the posting is being done, they should work diligently.

Minister of Water Resources Department spoke on the falling level of underground water

Meet Hare, who also holds the charge of the Water Resources Department, added that the government is committed to preserving the precious water resources of the state. He said that the importance of land and water conservation and water resources department is very big especially due to the falling level of underground water in the past and both the departments should develop new technologies to save the ground water. Finally he once again congratulated the newly recruited youth and their families for starting this new chapter in life and wished them success in their job.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Pal Mahendra Singh Saini welcomed the newly recruited youths in the departmental family and invited them to perform their duties responsibly. Axion BS Dhillon was also present on this occasion.
