While skipper Uday continued to help the score rise slowly, Sachin counter-attacked as soon as he came on and put South Africa on the backfoot. The two shared a record partnership of 171 runs and took the team past 200 runs. Sachin was just 4 runs away from his century, but then he got out. After this, captain Uday brought the team closer to victory, while 2 more wickets fell in between. Captain Saharan also ran out as soon as the score was equal. However, Raj Limbani led the team to victory by scoring 13 runs off 4 balls.
