Husband and wife died due to snakebite in Ludhiana. The deceased couple lived with their children in a dairy in village Tharike. A snake entered the dairy last night. Here, a husband and wife were bitten by a snake while sleeping with their little son in the room. After being bitten by the snake, the woman screamed and the nearby dairy owners and people living nearby gathered. People took the couple to the hospital.

During the treatment, it was found that the person died on the spot. While the woman died during treatment in the hospital. The deceased have been identified as Sushil Paswan (40) and Lalita Devi (38). The couple has four children. At the time of the incident, three children were sleeping on the roof while one child was sleeping with them. Police station Sadar sent the bodies to Civil Hospital for post-mortem.

ASI Avtar Singh, who is investigating the case, said that the deceased are residents of Bihar. The couple was living in the dairy along with their four children as Sushil worked in the dairy. The ASI said that the four children are safe and are currently being cared for by the dairy owner. The couple’s relatives also live in Ludhiana. After post-mortem, the bodies have been handed over to the heirs.
