HOP OXO Electric Motorcycle With 150 Km Range Launched in Hyderabad Motor Show Price Rs 1.60 Lakh Specificiations Details

HOP Electric announced the launch of its electric motorcycle, the HOP OXO, at the E-Motor Show held in Hyderabad. This motor show event was organized by the Telangana State Government at the Hitex Exhibition Centre. The electric bike was launched in September last year. The HOP OXO electric bike is powered by a motor that generates 6200W of peak power, which is coupled with a 72V architecture. The top speed of the bike is 90 – 95 kmph. The bike comes equipped with three ride modes – Eco, Power and Sport.

The HOP OXO electric bike comes in five different color options, including Twilight Grey, Candy Red, Magnetic Blue, Electric Yellow and True Black. The motorcycle can also be bought from the company’s 10 experience centers located in Hyderabad and is priced between Rs 1.60 lakh to Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom).

Talking about the specifications, the HOP OXO electric bike is powered by a 6200W peak power generating motor, which is coupled with a 72V architecture. Its powertrain generates peak torque of 200 Nm, thanks to which this electric bike can reach a top speed of 90 – 95 kmph. The company claims that the OXO can be accelerated from 0 to 40 kmph in just 4 seconds. It comes equipped with three ride modes – Eco, Power and Sport along with an additional Turbo mode.

Talking about the range, the company claims that this electric bike can cover a distance of 150 km in full charge. The company says it can be charged with its portable smart charger via any 16 amp power socket, which charges the battery pack from 0 to 80 percent in less than 4 hours on average.

The bike gets a multi-mode regenerative braking system. It comes with 4G connectivity and a partner mobile application, which is equipped with features including speed control, geo-fencing, anti-theft system, ride statistics and many more.
