The Minister of Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management said that the government has given special orders for drinking water and other essential services such as health services, animal health care in the villages.
He further said that the government will also ensure that the natural flow of rainwater is ensured by removing illegal encroachments, marking buried drains and drains.
Minister Gimpa said that while preparing the lists of affected people, care should be taken to ensure that every loss is compensated. The government has no dearth of funds for relief and rehabilitation work.
Later, Minister for Revenue and Rehabilitation along with MLA Randhawa expressed sympathy with the farmers who were sitting on dharna due to the drowning of two migrant laborers in front of Akumas Life Sciences Factory between Jola Kalan and Jandli and MLA Kuljit Singh Derabassi and S.D. M. Derabassi asked Himanshu Gupta to look into the cases of farmers obstructing the way of natural chow by the factory.
On this occasion, MLA Derabassi said that he himself is in touch with the administrative machinery to compensate the affected people and restore essential services. He thanked Minister Bram Shankar Jimpa for his special visit to this backward and remote area to take stock of the flood victims.
