On February 23, the administration has made an important announcement in Jalandhar of Punjab. There will be a full day holiday in all government and non-government educational institutions on February 23 i.e. Friday. Sushil Rinku, Member of Parliament from Jalandhar DC Special Sarangal, met him regarding the Shobha Yatra to be held in view of the 647th Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji. After which it has been announced.

MP Rinku requested the DC to ensure a large number of people participate in the Shobha Yatra. Keeping public sentiments in mind, a full day holiday was demanded in all educational institutions of Jalandhar city. MP Rinku said that the district administration has also been asked to facilitate the crowd during Shobha Yatra, make adequate arrangements for transportation, make adequate arrangements for security and ensure the cleanliness of the city. In which the district administration is working fast.

Meanwhile, according to the orders issued by the Deputy Commissioner, a grand Shobha Yatra is being organized in Jalandhar city dedicated to Prakash Purab on February 23, under which many transport routes have been changed so that people do not face any kind of trouble. And Sangat can participate in Shobha Yatra.

According to the issued orders, 23 February will be a holiday in all government/non-government schools/colleges within Jalandhar city limits for the convenience of people and school/college students on this day. It is also clarified that these orders will not apply to educational institutions whose schools/colleges board/university examinations are scheduled to be held on the said date.
