Chandigarh : Some houses and vehicles were damaged in a clash between pilgrims and locals during a fair in Himachal Pradesh’s Manikarna. The police gave this information on Monday. He said that the incident took place on Sunday night, after which some vehicles of the tourists were damaged by the local people.

A 21-second video of the incident surfaced on social media, in which pilgrims purportedly from Punjab can be seen pelting stones at houses of local residents near Gurdwara Manikarna Sahib. Kullu Superintendent of Police Sakshi Verma told PTI that a clash broke out between locals and devotees at a fair. No one has suffered any serious injury in the incident. The reason for the clash is not yet known.

He tweeted, “The situation in Manikarna Sahib is completely under control and I request people to maintain peace and harmony. I have spoken to the DGP.
