Hero MotoCorp Electric Bike: Hero MotoCorp, the country’s largest two-wheeler company, has joined hands with American company Zero Motorcycles for manufacturing premium electric bikes. Two-wheeler company Hero MotoCorp has tied up with US company Zero Motorcycle for the manufacture of expensive electric motorcycles and other related cooperation.
Hero MotoCorp said that under this agreement, along with Zero’s expertise in developing powertrains and electric motorcycles, Hero MotoCorp will get the benefit of its manufacturing scale and marketing.
The company’s board of directors had approved an equity investment of $60 million in electric motorcycle and powertrain company Zero Motorcycles in September 2022.
