Chandigarh: Rain continues in Punjab. Now the Chandigarh Weather Center has issued a warning for the next few days as well. According to which there is an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rain in Majha and Doaba tomorrow i.e. on July 8, while a yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain in West and East Malwa.
There is a yellow alert for heavy rains in Doaba and East Malwa on July 9. Most of Majha and West Malwa will receive light to moderate rain.
Most of Doaba and East Malwa will receive light to moderate rain on July 10. While in West Malwa, Kan-Mun and Majha areas will remain dry. Light rain at some places over Majha, Doaba and East Malwa on July 11 and West Malwa will remain dry.
According to the Meteorological Department, there will not be any major change in the maximum temperature of the state during the next 4-5 days and the weather will continue to be thundery at some places.
Yesterday, 33.9 degrees Celsius was recorded at Hoshiarpur. The lowest temperature was recorded at Amritsar today at 23.3 degrees Celsius.
For your information, let us tell you that according to the Meteorological Department, Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar and Tarn Taran districts come in Majha region of Punjab.
– Hoshiarpur, Nawan Shahr, Kapurthala and Jalandhar in Doaba.
– Ferozepur, Fazilka, Faridkot, Muktsar, Moga and Bathinda in West Malwa.
– East Malwa includes Ludhiana, Barnala, Mansa, Sangrur, Fatehgarh Sahib, Rupnagar, Patiala and Mohali.
