So far, 352 cases have been reported in Maharashtra, which is most affected by this dangerous virus. In such a situation, in view of these increasing cases, the state’s CM Eknath Shinde has called a meeting today.
Such condition in Mumbai
It was told by BMC yesterday i.e. on Wednesday that there are 32 patients admitted in Mumbai, out of which 4 are H3N2 and 28 are H1N1 patients. The condition of all these patients is currently stable.
Infection spreading in Maharashtra
In fact, not only Maharashtra but this infection is spreading in many states of the country. Apart from H3N2 influenza virus, cases of swine flu and covid are also seen increasing again in the country. A person infected with this virus shows symptoms like fever, cold, body ache. In some cases, the patient continues to cough continuously, due to which the patient becomes very weak.

Be aware that the infection caused by H3N2 virus or influenza A virus is characterized by high fever, shortness of breath, fatigue and dry cough. On the other hand, experts say that the symptoms remain in the body for 3 weeks.

Children and the elderly are now at the highest risk of the H3N2 virus because it directly attacks a person’s immune system. In particular, children or the elderly with asthma, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and weakened immune systems are at greater risk from the H3N2 virus. Pregnant women are also more at risk from this deadly virus. In view of these threats, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde will hold a meeting on H3N2 today.
