In the AK-47 case found from Prem Prakash’s hideout, a notice will be issued by ED to the Senior SP of Ranchi this week. The reason for this is being told about the facts found during the inquiry conducted so far in this matter. In the light of ED’s summons, the security in-charge of CM residence did not appear for questioning on February 28. Instead of being present, he has also written a letter to ED informing about seeking guidance from senior officers.

It is worth mentioning that during the second raid on Prem Prakash’s premises, ED got two AK-47 rifles and 60 bullets from his house. After seizing it, the ED handed it over to the Argora police. During the investigation of the rifles found from Prem Prakash’s house, it was found that it was issued in the name of two jawans posted in the security of the Chief Minister’s residence. However, both the jawans were engaged in the security of Prem Prakash instead of guarding the Chief Minister’s residence. After the rifle was seized by the ED, it was said by the police that while returning from duty, the jawans had taken Prem Prakash’s rifles to protect them from the rain. Had kept it at Prakash’s house.

In the case of the arms recovered from Prem Prakash’s house, the ED has interrogated these two jawans, in whose names the arms were allotted. For the first time, these jawans had told about ill health. In this case, a notice was issued to Sergeant Major for questioning. Sergeant Major in his statement given to ED had said that both the jawans were allotted AK-47 on the instructions of Senior SP. In the light of this statement given by Sergeant Major, preparations are being made to issue summons to the Senior SP.
