The Punjab government was in a lot of trouble due to the High Court’s comment on the decision to dissolve panchayats. Since then it was believed that the government may resign from the AG. According to information, Vinod Ghai submitted his resignation on Tuesday itself. Although this matter was discussed throughout the day on Wednesday, neither the Chief Minister’s Office nor the Home Department confirmed it.
In today’s Punjab Cabinet meeting, many important issues including SYL were discussed. In the meeting of the Punjab Cabinet, there was also a discussion on the convening of the monsoon session. Many other pro-people decisions of the state were also approved by the cabinet.
