Gurga of gang with weapons in the hands of the Mohali police

An accused has been arrested along with 4 foreign pistols, 42 live cartridges and a Fortuner car as part of a sting operation against anti-social elements by the Mohali police. According to the information received, the accused Gurikbalmeet Singh alias Robin son of Gurmeet Singh resident of village Haswala district Tarn Taran was wanted and absconding. He was arrested from Rajasthan after being traced through technical and human resources.

During the investigation, so far 4 foreign pistols, 02 magazines, Airtel dongle with SIM and a Fortuner car have been recovered from Pakistan border by drone. During the investigation, it came to light that when the accused Gurikbalmeet Singh was in jail, he came in contact with the gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria. After this, the accused came on bail from the jail in the year 2023 and escaped.

Jaggu was running the Bhagwanpuria gang after the accused came out of jail and was living on rent in Sector-115 Kharar with his accomplices Jagmeet Singh and Gursevak Singh. Sitting here, he was running the extortion racket of Jaggu Bhagwanpuria in Majhe area. Accused Gurikbalmeet Singh's accomplice Jagmeet Singh alias Jaggi has been arrested by the Batala police and his third accomplice Gursevak Singh alias Bam is still absconding and will be arrested soon.
