ChatGPT Update: Ever since ChatGPT came into the world of internet, it has given sleepless nights to many tech companies. OpenAI’s chatbot is fast proving to be very useful for the users.

As a result of this, it has left behind Facebook and WhatsApp in terms of rapid growth. This has been revealed by the recent figures of World of Statistics.

According to data from World of Statistics, Chat GPT has achieved the milestone of 100 million users in just two months, while WhatsApp took 3.5 years to get so many users, while Facebook got so many users in 4.5 years.

ChatGPT vs Google: Google making a model of 1000 languages

To beat ChatGPT, Google is moving toward its goal of building an AI language model that will support 1,000 different languages. To realize its goals, Google is developing the Universal Speech Model (USM) system, sharing information about which Google described as an important first step.

In November last year, the company announced its plans to build a language model supporting one thousand of the world’s most spoken languages, describing its USM model.

The tech giant is touting USM as a family of state-of-the-art speech models, trained on 12 million hours of speech and 28 billion sentences of text, covering more than 300 languages.

Google currently claims that USM supports over 100 languages โ€‹โ€‹and will serve as the foundation for a much larger system.

Meanwhile, Google is expected to introduce a host of AI features to its product in the near future and among them is working to integrate the Gboard Imagine text-to-image generator for Android.
