The meeting of the employee union with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann ended regarding the demands of the employees. This meeting was held at Punjab Bhavan. The Chief Minister said today a meeting was held with the representatives of the Punjab State Ministerial Service Union and their issues were discussed in detail. The Chief Minister said that he is sharing a big good news that he is going to give a new year gift to the employees, DA is increased by 4 percent which will be considered effective from 1st December 2023.
It may be mentioned that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann invited the meeting to the State Ministerial Service Union. It is worth mentioning that on the invitation of the State Ministerial Service Union, the employees have been on a continuous pen cutting strike since November 5.
During this struggle, the union meeting was also held with the cabinet minister's sub-committee, but no solution could be found in this meeting. After this, the struggle of the employees continued continuously. Now, the employees had ended their strike after the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann called the meeting.
