Crores of rupees will be spent for the beautification of Bhai Rupa

Bathinda News: Local Government Minister Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar announced that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will spend 2.53 crore rupees on the beautification of Nagar Panchayat Bhai Rupa of Bathinda. The project aims to revitalize and enhance the overall aesthetics of the area.

Giving more information in this regard, Local Government Minister Dr. Inderbir Singh said that as part of this project, the government will work to revive many ponds in the area. The pond near Dera Khuhwala will be renovated at a cost of Rs 54.71 lakh, while the pond near Vishwakarma Temple will be renovated at a cost of Rs 51.99 lakh. The pond near Gurdwara Mansarovar will be revived at a cost of Rs 32.59 lakh, while the pond at Kale Bagh Road will be revived at a cost of Rs 47.32 lakh. Namdhari Talab will also be revived at a cost of Rs 63.31 lakh.

Apart from reviving the ponds, the government will also construct two in situ (screening cum grit chambers) in Ward No-2 and Ward No-5. The per in situ cost of which will be Rs 1.67 lakh.

Dr Nijjar added that the beautification project will not only enhance the overall appearance of the area but also provide a more pleasant and pleasant environment for residents and visitors. The project is expected to start soon, and the government aims to complete the work at the earliest.
