Girls residential school will be built in Bihta, girl students will get separate money for sanitary napkins

Patna. Government Other Backward Class Plus Two Girls Residential School running in the house acquired under monitoring suit in Kadamkuan will have its own building in Bihta. Three acres of land has been identified in Bihta block for the new building. The land will be demarcated on March 13. Soil testing is going on for the construction of the building. The new building will have ideal arrangement of hostel, administrative building, class room, library, lab etc.

There are 240 girl students in the school

On Saturday, DM Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh inspected Government Other Backward Classes Plus Two Girls Residential School Kadamkuan. He saw the condition of the school premises, class rooms, teachers’ rooms, smart classes, office rooms, toilets, bathrooms, drinking water, sleeping rooms etc. The school will be operational from 13th March. The girl students living in the school started coming from Saturday. The DM took information about the arrangements from Khushbu Kumari of class six. Under the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Scheme, 17 girl students of the school have achieved success. There are 240 girl students in the school.

Girl students will get Rs 300 for sanitary napkins

DM said that every girl student gets Rs 10580 per year through DBT. The District Welfare Officer was directed to find out whether the package includes Rs 300 annually for sanitary napkins or not. The DM said that if it is not included, then the girl students here will also be given Rs 300 annually for sanitary napkins. The school has good facilities for studies. There are four security guards, CCTV surveillance for security arrangements. There is better facility of smart class and computer education.

Along with coding, quiz, drawing, essay competition, tours and historical places are also organized for academic and mental development among the girl students. He told the District Welfare Officer and the Superintendent to maintain constant communication with the girl students and to ensure necessary arrangements as per the educational requirement.
