A case was registered against the accused-
Apart from the case registered in Amritsar, there are 4 cases registered in Delhi-Haryana against the accused. He has also lived in Tihar Jail in Haryana and Delhi. Here he met Jaggu Bhagwanpuria.
1. Suit No. 639/2015 Offense 307 I.P.C. Police Station Asoudha, Jhajjar, Haryana.
2. Case No. 405/2017 Crime 392/34 IPC Police Station Kanjawala Delhi.
3. Suit No. 10 dated 9-01-2018 Crime 307/34 IPC 25/54/59 Arms Act Police Station Najafgarh, Delhi.
4. Case No. 40/2018 Crime 353/186/307 IPC Police Station Asoudha, Jhajjar, Haryana.
Shots were fired at Sonu Mota
The Amritsar police had registered a case against the accused on May 22 under section 307/34 IPC 25/54/59 Arms Act. The accused along with his accomplices opened fire on Sonu Motta outside Hotel Woods on Amritsar Verka Bypass. In the investigation, the name of Jaggu gang came up.
The police arrested several accused in this case, out of which the name of Deepak Rathi also came out only after interrogation. Police investigation revealed that the car used to carry out the incident was also stolen from Amritsar Bypass a few days before the incident.
