A woman who came to clean her house in Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar of Kharar town in Mohali was attacked by two pet pitbull dogs of the house. The dogs ate half of Rakhi's mouth. The dogs kept scratching him for about an hour. He has severe bite wounds on his neck, stomach, hands, thighs and both legs. The owner of the house where the woman worked was away on a wedding. She came to clean the house on the first day itself
Prakash Singh, a resident of Ru Teg Bahadur Nagar, had gone to the wedding ceremony along with his family. Her mother-in-law was alone in the house. In the afternoon, as soon as the maid Rakhi entered the house, she was attacked by pit bull dogs roaming freely. The dogs bit off half of his mouth and ate it. He also has scars on his neck. After this he was taken to Civil Hospital in Kharar. Later he was referred to Chandigarh.
