He said that the water that goes to Pakistan will be stored. By doing this the ground water level which has decreased will also increase. He said that if there is further need, the water will be transported to the fields with the help of pumps.

CM Mann said that the effect of rain in Himachal is being seen in Punjab. At present the capacity of Bhakra is 1680 feet. But the water level four feet below it is 1676 feet.
In view of these floods, Ferozepur Division has canceled 15 trains and diverted the routes of 4 trains.
At the same time, Gurdaspur DC Himanshu Agarwal has announced holiday in private and government schools in flood affected areas and this announcement will continue till further orders.
