The situation in Hanuman is getting worse
The rising water level has raised concerns among the administration and local citizens. The administration is vigilant. According to information, 25,700 cusecs of water was released from Otu head of Ghaggar river three days ago. More than two thousand people have been moved to safer places in Hanumangarh district including Rawatsar, Tibbi. People are being taken to the camps set up by the administration. Hanuman’s condition has worsened due to the water being released from Haryana.
Chambal river water increased
On the other hand, due to continuous rain in Kota division of the state and Madhya Pradesh, the water level of Chambal river has increased. By opening three gates of Kota barrage, water is being released continuously. According to the Meteorological Department, there has been 94 percent more rain in the current monsoon season so far. So far, 289.4 mm of rain has fallen in the state. While the average rainfall is 149 mm. Jaipur Meteorological Center Director Radheshyam Sharma said that at present a low pressure area has formed over northwest Bay of Bengal and Odisha coast. Monsoon trough line extends from Jaisalmer, Kota to low pressure area. Due to this, there may be rain in many areas of the state.
