A case of a friend shooting a friend has come to light at Jandiala Guru. In fact, on the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Gurpurab, some young people were firing firecrackers. After the crackers, the said youth started firing with illegal weapons. Meanwhile, another friend was shot by the friend. The bullet hit his thigh, after which he was immediately admitted to the hospital in an injured condition.
The matter also reached the police, but the said youth tried to hide the matter and the police was told that an unknown person had fired a shot. When the police investigated, the said four youths admitted that the bullet was fired from them. He said that while he was shooting, one of his friends was accidentally shot in the thigh.
At present, the police have taken action against 4 youths. I. R. 3 youths have been registered and arrested and investigation into the matter has started. The police is also trying to find out how the illegal weapons reached the said youth. The condition of the youth who was shot is said to be stable.
