Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah injured in South Africa tour

The ongoing Centurion Test against South Africa has brought worrying news for Team India. India’s leading pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out due to injury. Jasprit Bumrah injured her ankle while bowling.

In the first Test between India and South Africa at Centurion, pacer Jasprit Bumrah suffered a sprained right ankle. Due to which Bumrah had to leave the field. The medical team is currently monitoring Bumrah and Shreyas Aiyar has been deployed for fielding as a replacement for Bumrah.

If Bumrah’s injury does not heal soon, problems could arise for the Indian team. Jasprit Bumrah gave South Africa their first blow in her first over. Apart from them, Mohammad Shami and Mohammad Siraj are also bowling well. India have scored 327 runs in the first innings, while South Africa have been put under pressure by the Indian bowlers.

Today is the third day of the first Test between India and South Africa. On the first day, India scored 272 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. But due to rain, the second day’s game could not be played. On the third day, the African bowlers made a brilliant comeback and within just 55 runs, the Indian team was all out. However, the Indian bowlers also put pressure on the South African team by giving several blows in the beginning. For India, Bumrah took the first wicket. After that Shami and Siraj took wickets. It remains to be seen when Bumrah will fit.
