Mumbai: The job of a software engineer is to do coding for any program or app which is written step by step. When two software engineers leave everything and make a film or web series, it is expected that their approach will be similar. It happens to a great extent, but after achieving success, things go awry. After making a successful software, they make another software of the same lines, in which almost everything is taken care of, but its output is not fixed. The famous director duo Raj and DK’s new web series – Farzi, is made when it is copied on the basis of the most popular TV show in the history of television, “Breaking Bad” by the producer named Vince Gilligan. Actors like Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, KK Menon, Amol Palekar, and Raashi Khanna are present in the recently released Farzi on Amazon Prime Video. The audience has not got anything new but the packaging has got new. The series is funny, worth watching but fake like the name.

In Breaking Bad, a school teacher who teaches chemistry is diagnosed with cancer. No matter where the teachers are, they are poor. The thought of leaving nothing for his family keeps gnawing at him. With the help of one of his old mischievous students, he uses his knowledge of chemistry to create an excellent drug. When the police follow the drug dealer to whom he sells the drugs made by him, he kidnaps both of them. And then this story continues for about 5 seasons… in which many actors keep coming and going.

Now watch the story of Farzi. Shahid Kapoor is an excellent sketch artist and painter. His maternal grandfather has a printing press from where he publishes a newspaper named Kranti. Shahid, along with his best friend Firoz, prints fake notes in his printing press to pay off the huge debt incurred on this newspaper and printing press and to save his maternal grandfather. If the design and printing of the note is excellent, then it runs well. One day he comes across a big gangster who gives him a huge order. If the police is behind that gangster, then he also makes a plan to eliminate both of them. But he could not succeed in his plans. Then the story ends at such a point where there is scope for a second season.

There are many such scenes or references in Farzi which make it an Indian version of Breaking Bad. When Shahid Kapoor says that whatever he is doing, he does not feel wrong inside, then we remember Bryan Cranston of Breaking Bad. When Shahid and Firoz (awesome actor Bhuvan Arora) are sitting on a mountain of notes or when they are printing notes and suddenly the police comes, Shahid takes a big pan in his hand and starts thinking of killing him and then the big officers.
