Bureau Report: In Punjab, farmers’ organizations have again opened a front against the government. Farmers surrounded the houses of 28 AAP MLAs in the state. Protests were held in 15 districts of the state and demand letters were sent to the government. Farmers said we will not tolerate oppressive policies and bullying.
Sarwan Singh Pandher, General Secretary of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee, said that the government is playing in the hands of corporate houses. He said that Bhagwant Mann has called a special meeting, in which farmers should come up with a policy. President of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee Sukhwinder Singh Sabra said that AAP leader Raja Gill has bullied him in Tanda Hoshiarpur, he cannot go right.
Demands of farmers
The farmers’ leaders say that fake cases are being made against the farmers’ leaders who are protesting for their demands. President Sukhwinder Singh Sabra said that the government immediately withdrew the false cases. Apart from this, those who have completed their sentence in Bandi Singh jails should be released.
Prepaid meter with chip not allowed at all
The Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee said prepaid electricity meters with chips are not acceptable to them at all, the government should ban prepaid meters with chips, the old structure of the electricity board should be restored. Save the youth from drugs
Govt to save the water of Punjab
President of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee Sukhwinder Singh Sabra said that the Punjab government should save the water of the state. The water of Punjab is mixing with the waste of factories directly in the rivers making the water poisonous. The government should take steps to stop this and punish the culprits.
