Chandigarh: The wheat crop has started arriving in the markets. Various expenses are incurred during the arrival of wheat in the markets. Out of which some expenses are recovered from the farmer and the buyer. The government fixes these expenses so that no one can be robbed. Below is the list of expenditure recovery for the year 2023.

First of all, let’s talk about the cost to be collected from the farmer for 50 kg of wheat. The farmer will be charged Rs 2 22 paise per unit for washing and Rs 4 for cleaning. According to this, a total cost of 6 rupees 22 paise will be charged.

If we talk about the expenses to be collected from the wheat buyer, then for the 50 kg of wheat, the weigher will be paid Rs. 88 paise per unit, the laborer will be paid Rs. 3.72 paise and the sweeper will be paid 0.67 paise. According to this, the total cost to be collected from the buyer for 50 kg of wheat will be 6 rupees 27 paise.

Along with this, 1 rupee 47 paise is included for sewing 50 kg of wheat from the wheat buyer with a machine. This expenditure includes payment of 0.58 paise to labour. Along with this, one rupee 12 paise per piece is included for hand stitching. A loading charge of Rs 76 paise per piece is included.

Finally, let us say again that all these expenses are per 50 kg of wheat recruitment.
