New Delhi / Nashik. According to a big news received from Maharashtra, the farmers’ organization from Nashik here has set out on the Mumbai-Agra National Highway today to gherao the Ministry of Maharashtra for various demands. That’s all they have red flags in their hands and they are going shouting anti-government slogans.

It should be informed that these farmers are demanding that the relief amount for onion, cabbage and cotton damaged due to excessive rains must be given. Along with this, they want fair price for the crops. Farmers want the soil of their fields to be tested, while the Shinde government should also provide fertilizers, seeds and proper electricity for irrigation.

It may be known that the Shinde government of Maharashtra has announced on Monday an ex-gratia of Rs 300/quintal to the farmers of the state affected by the sharp fall in onion prices. Announcing this in the state assembly, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that onion growers will get relief from this decision. In fact, there has been a big fall in the prices of onions in Maharashtra, in such a situation, farmers are not even getting a fair price for their produce. Exactly the same condition is happening to the farmers cultivating onion, cabbage and cotton.
