Is it a modified form of Corona or a new virus? This has not been confirmed yet. Because it is preying on children. So it is considered more dangerous. Currently, it is more prevalent in northern China. Schools are being closed there, so that this infection does not spread further.

China’s National Health Commission held a press conference on November 13 and reported that people in northern China are suffering from respiratory diseases. People are having trouble breathing, so they are being admitted to hospitals. In this conversation, the officials had raised the possibility that there may be cases of influenza. Apart from this, the decline in the cases of Kovid-19 was talked about. The matter worsened when there was a sudden increase in cases of pneumonia among children in the last two-three days. After this, Chinese officials said that cases of pneumonia are increasing. After this WHO became alert and asked China for full information about it.

The symptoms of the mysterious pneumonia spreading in China are similar to Corona. Fever, chills, cough and shortness of breath also occur. In particular it attacks the victim’s lungs. It is so dangerous that children suffering from pneumonia need to be hospitalized immediately. Chinese authorities have lifted COVID-19 restrictions due to the spread of the disease. According to Chinese officials, it is Mycoplasma pneumoniae that affects children.

What is WHO doing?

The World Health Organization (WHO) has formally requested from China full information on the cases, causes and effects of pneumonia to understand how dangerous this pneumonia is. If it is as contagious as Covid, efforts to contain it will be initiated as soon as possible, so that it does not spread outside of China. Dr. Kritika Kupalli of WHO’s emergency program has posted on social media platform X that this disease can be anything. Outbreaks of respiratory diseases have increased since lockdowns were lifted in many countries. However, more information is needed to know the reason for this in China. Currently, laboratory testing is underway with WHO international experts.

WHO issued guidelines

The World Health Organization has issued guidelines regarding the pneumonia spreading in China. It has advised people to exercise caution. People have been asked to maintain cleanliness and contact a doctor immediately if symptoms appear. Avoid going out of the house without work. Even if you go, follow social distancing and wear a mask.

Is this a concern for the world?

The World Health Organization has not said anything clearly on whether this new disease spreading in China is a threat to the world or not, but WHO is fully active in this matter. In fact, in 2019, cases of corona were reported in China this season, after which the virus shook the world. So WHO is trying to find out the cause of this disease as soon as possible.

There was also an attack of pneumonia in 2019

Mysterious pneumonia also hit China in 2019. At that time it was first reported in Wuhan province of China. The situation became such that WHO had to issue an advisory. Meanwhile, fever, difficulty in breathing, infection in the lungs etc. were observed in the victims. However, this was overcome with time.
