He said that Sikh students are currently not allowed to wear turban in French schools. For Sikhs, the turban is a religious symbol and identity, in view of which the President of France and the Prime Minister of India should take the side of the Sikhs. Bhai Grewal also appealed to the Sikh leaders within the BJP to play their role on this serious issue.
