Bureau report : The DSP of Ferozepur has made a shocking revelation about drugs and has made serious allegations against his uniformed colleagues. The DSP has claimed that one SHO and 11 policemen have links with drug smugglers and gangsters. The complaint of this matter has been given to the higher authorities and an urgent action has also been demanded in the matter. This is not the first time that there have been allegations regarding the relationship between the officials and the smugglers, even before this many officials have been caught in the circle of drugs. The sacked SSP Rajjit Singh and AIG Inderjit Singh is the biggest example of this. In the case of both of them, the High Court itself had constituted the SIT taking notice.

According to the received information, complete information about the activities of the smugglers has been shared in the complaint. In which it is explained how despite having correct information about drug smugglers, they run away. Sometimes the smugglers are not caught despite having sufficient information with the police. The leakers are employees of the Punjab Police, including an SHO.
The SHO is in charge of the border area
The SHO mentioned by the DSP in his written complaint is in-charge of Ferozepur border police station. Due to which he has links with many drug smugglers. SP D Randhir Kumar said that the matter is under his attention and notice has also been taken. But action will be taken after seeing the evidence of the allegations that have been made. Based on the complaint a team will collect all the evidence after which an investigation will be conducted.
