It is being told that the DSP had asked for a bribe to expel the nominated person in one case. The complainant had given the complaint of the matter to the Vigilance along with the evidence. After getting the evidence, the vigilance has arrested the DSP in Maur Mandi police station by setting a trap. After some time, DSP Baljit Singh was brought to Bathinda Vigilance Bureau police station.
Earlier, an ASI was arrested by the police for implicating him in a fake drug case. He threatened that if he did not get the money, he would make a false drug case. After which the victim complained to the vigilance after which the ASI was arrested.
