He said that the Aam Aadmi Clinics being opened by the Punjab government is a commendable step and with the opening of these clinics people will get better health facilities near their homes and people will not need to go to far away areas for treatment and their basic needs. Treatment will be done in these clinics only
He said that in these Aam Aadmi Clinics, disease screening, 90 types of free medicines and 40 types of clinical tests and various services are being made available to the people absolutely free. On this occasion, Dr Ruhi Dug IAS Deputy Commissioner Shri Muktsar Sahib congratulated the people on Independence Day and appealed to them to make maximum use of the health services provided in these Aam Aadmi clinics.
He said that 2 Aam Aadmi Clinics were started in District Sri Muktsar Sahib on 15th August 2022. 16 more Aam Aadmi Clinics were started in District Sri Muktsar Sahib on 26th January 2023 which are running successfully and serving the people well. are providing health facilities and with the Aam Aadmi Clinics being started today, the number of Aam Aadmi Clinics in the district will increase to 20.
Giving information on this occasion, Dr. Rita Bala, Civil Surgeon Mr. Muktsar Sahib said that 18 Aam Aadmi Clinics running in the district have treated one lakh four thousand five hundred and twenty four (104524) patients free of cost and one thousand thirty one (21031) have been treated so far. Free lab tests are also done to the patients and these Aam Aadmi clinics are proving to be a boon to the people. On this occasion, Kanwarjit Singh SDM. Malott, Dr. Bandana Bansal DMC Dr. Pawan Mittal SMO Alamwala, Fahit Singh Brar DSP. Malot, Jaswinder Kaur Naib Tehsildar, Jashan Lakhewali District President Aam Aadmi Party and Aam Aadmi Party workers and villagers were present.
