Giving information in this regard, Punjab Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian said that such farmers can call “77106-65725” from 8 am to 9.30 pm and register a demand for paddy paneri. He said that according to the commitment of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab government is doing its best to help the farmers affected by this natural calamity.

Agriculture Minister tomorrow (Wednesday) will start sowing of paddy in an area of ​​more than 22 acres in Sangrur district and more than 3500 quintals of paddy are being sown by the department to provide free paddy to the farmers. Gurmeet Singh Khudian said that the farmers do not need to worry because the state government is standing by them in this difficult time.

He said that the state government is already making efforts to meet the demand of paddy rice. The state government is committed to provide free paddy replanting paddy in flood damaged paddy crop areas. The Agriculture Minister also appreciated the efforts of the farmers who helped the affected farmers by providing free paddy. He said that there is a need to help each other in this difficult time.
