Congress has announced its new team ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has formed the Congress Working Committee (CWC). 39 leaders including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh have been included as members in the Congress Working Committee.
The big thing is that for the first time Sachin Pilot, Shashi Tharoor, Anand Sharma, Ashok Chavan and Charanjit Singh Channi have also been included in the committee.
This 39-member committee includes Sonia, Rahul, Priyanka. Along with this, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has also been retained in the committee.

The special thing is that Kharge has also given place in this committee to Shashi Tharoor, who is contesting against him. The committee consists of 39 members, 14 permanent members, 14 in-charge and 9 members on special invitation.
Apart from Mukul Wasnik, Anand Sharma, Shashi Tharoor and Manish Tiwari of the G-23 group have also been given a place. Apart from these, Ajay Maken, Ashokrao Chavan, Priyanka Gandhi, Kumari Selja, Tamardhwaj Sahu, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Salman Khurshid, Jairam Ramesh, Jitinder Singh, Randeep Surjewala, Sachin Pilot have also been given a place.
