What is the recipe of Kheermohan
Ganesh Kumar of Athri Khirmohan Bhandar of Runnisaidpur in Sitamarhi district tells that it is made from Chhena and Khoya. First of all, after boiling the pure milk for some time, it is removed from the stove and the milk is torn. Then 100 grams of semolina is mixed and sugar is mixed after drying it. Then it is made round with khova and put in sugar solution and left for half an hour. Then Kheer Mohan gets ready.

Kheermohan gets Rs 60 per piece
Ganesha tells that it is available for Rs.60 a piece. On the occasion of Bihar Day, they have come from Athri to set up stalls at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. People here are also liking it very much. Apart from this, people are also relishing the taste of Balushahi. It is available at Rs 20 per piece and Rs 250 per kg.

When Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar went to Sitamarhi during his Samadhan Yatra, a dinner was organized at Dumra-based Legislative Council Chairman Devesh Chandra Thakur’s residence. During the meal, the Chief Minister relished the Kheer Mohan sweet made by Devesh Chandra Thakur’s native village Athari. According to Ganesh of Kheer Mohan Bhandar, an order of 500 pieces of Kheermohan came from Devesh Chandra Thakur’s place.
