Ingredients to make Sev-Tomato Vegetable
Sev – 1 bowl
Tomato – 2
Tomato puree – 1/2 bowl
Ginger-garlic paste โ€“ 1 tsp
Curd – 2 tsp
Green chili chopped – 1 tsp
Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
Red chili powder – 2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Rye โ€“ 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Kasuri fenugreek – 1 tsp
Whole cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Oil โ€“ 2 tbsp
salt – as per taste

How to make Sev-Tomato Vegetable
To make a tasty mix vegetable of sev and tomato, first finely chop green chillies and green coriander and keep them in a bowl. Now wash the tomatoes and wipe them with cotton cloth and cut them into fine pieces. Now add red chili powder, coriander and cumin powder, turmeric in a bowl and mix all the spices well. Add 2 teaspoons of water to it and prepare a thick paste of spices.

Now put 2 tbsp oil in a pan and keep it for heating. When the oil becomes hot, put the flame on medium and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and fry them. After a few seconds, put asafoetida in it. After this, put spice paste in the pan and fry while stirring with a big spoon. After some time add finely chopped tomatoes and salt as per taste and cook till it becomes soft. After the tomatoes become soft, add tomato puree to it and mix.

When the mixture is well mixed, after cooking the gravy for 1 minute, add curd to it and fry for 2 more minutes. When the gravy starts leaving oil, add kasoori methi, garam masala and half a cup of water to it. When the gravy starts boiling and the gravy leaves oil, add sev to it and mix well. Now cover the pan and let the vegetable cook. After some time, when the sev becomes slightly soft, then turn off the gas. Tasty Sev-Tomato curry is ready. Garnish with green coriander leaves and serve the vegetable.
