Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has challenged Leader of Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa (BJP) to stop daydreaming as his aspirations to become the Chief Minister of the state will never materialize.

In a statement issued here, the Chief Minister said that Bajwa (BJP) is building air forts by issuing baseless statements on this issue. He said that these imaginary statements of Bajwa are inspired by his desire to become the Chief Minister of Punjab. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the Congress had already killed the dream of the leader of the opposition in the past and now his aspirations will never be thwarted.

The Chief Minister said that it is strange that Bajwa is talking about dissolving the democratically elected government. He said that if Bajwa is so bold then he must talk to his high command on this issue. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the leaders of the opposition are issuing baseless and illogical statements to mislead the people by building aerial fortresses on this issue.

The Chief Minister said that we have been elected by more than three crore people of Punjab and Bajwa should stop dreaming of succeeding in his nefarious plans to gain power. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the opposition leaders should stop playing with the mandate of the people, otherwise the residents of the state will teach them a lesson for this crime. He reminded Bajwa that he (the Chief Minister) is the leader of the people, while the opposition leaders are infamous for their underhand tactics.
