On the death anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam Udham Singh, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will reach Sunam today. For this, all the preparations have been completed by the local police-administration. CM Mann held a press conference on July 30 and informed about reaching Sunam. The Punjab government had declared a public holiday in Sangrur on Monday, July 31, two days before Shaheed Udham Singh’s martyrdom day.
Punjab Chief Secretary Anurag Verma had issued orders in this regard. On the occasion of the 84th martyrdom day of Shaheed Udham Singh, the Punjab government is organizing a memorial service at Sunam. It is worth mentioning that on the occasion of the 83rd Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Udham Singh, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the main agenda of the ‘AAP’ government will be to create an honest and transparent system by guarding the views of the martyrs.
