Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has today surrounded the central government for not including the tableau of Punjab in the parade on January 26 on the occasion of the martyrdom of Chote Sahibzades. CM Mann objected and said that by doing this, the Center has cheated Punjab.

CM Mann said that Punjab's tableau was not included last year too but this time the center wrote to us and asked that they want to present their tableau, so we said that this time we want to have Punjab's presence. Three proposals were prepared and sent by us. First- History of Punjab's sacrifices and martyrdoms, Mai Bhagona- Feminine empowerment and Punjab's rich heritage and its presentation.

In the first Bhagat Singh, Simon Commission Go Back, in the second it was almost the same. Second Mai Bhago – The first female warrior introduced as the female force. In the third, the culture of Punjab was presented. Two designs of these three were sent but were not passed by the Centre. Neither Punjab nor Delhi tableau was kept. The Center replied that some important cities have been included in it.

The Chief Minister is very angry that the Center did not include the table of Punjab and he said that I have already made it clear that if the Modi government is in place, then Punjab should be removed from the public mind as well. He said that BJP members are taking pictures of PM Modi in the name of Vikas Sankpal Yatra but they do not like Bhagat Singh and Rajguru. He said that I see with what face they will come to seek votes in Punjab. He said that I will show the forms sent to the center in Punjab and also write that rejected by the center. Can't stop us from showing our heritage.
