CM Mann flagged off the Begampura Express train to Banaras

For the 646th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj, like every year, thousands of pilgrims have left for Kashi from Jalandhar in Punjab. All the pilgrims left for Varanasi by Begampura Express Special Train. This special train has been flagged off by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann from Jalandhar City Railway Station.

Let us tell you that the railway had issued a time of 3.15 minutes for the departure of the train, but the train was dispatched from two stations an hour earlier. The entire railway station was packed with crowds of devotees and followers of Guru Ravidas Naam Lewa. Apart from different parts of Jalandhar city, the pilgrims reached the railway station of the city after traveling from Dera Ballan. People had installed various langars at different places for the pilgrims.

Railway officials gave information in this regard and said that four special trains are being run on the occasion of Sri Guru Ravidas Jayanti. Two trains will go from Jalandhar and Bathinda in Punjab to Banaras. Two trains will take the pilgrims back to Jalandhar and Bathinda. Today special train number 04606 has departed from Jalandhar at 2 pm.

According to the information, this train will reach Banaras on February 3, 2023 at 12:10 pm via Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Alam Nagar, Lucknow stations. From there, train number 04605 will depart on February 6 at 6:15 PM and reach Jalandhar on February 7 at 1:35 PM on the next day via the said stations.
