Circle sand dunes on Mars Nasa MRO spacecraft captured the picture full details

The American space agency NASA has been exploring the Red Planet i.e. Mars for the past several years. NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) spacecraft has taken pictures of sand dunes on Mars, which are seen in circles. This picture has been captured by the High Resolution Imaging Experiment (HiRise) color camera on MRO. It is being said that many types of sand dunes are commonly seen on Mars, for the first time round shaped sand dunes have been captured.

University of Arizona Quoting planetary geologist Alfred McEwen, it has been written that these sand dunes are slightly asymmetrical even though they are spherical. Seeing these, it is known that the sand usually flows with the winds coming from the south direction. According to the report, this picture was taken in November last year, when researchers were studying this area in the cold season. Researchers were studying Pale in this area. This picture shows that there was no frost anywhere in the area.

The HiRise camera on MRO is controlled by the University of Arizona. It has high resolution equipment. It was launched in the year 2005. Since 2006, the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter has been studying the atmosphere and regions of Mars. It also serves as a major data relay station for other Mars missions.
