During the patrolling, the police party intercepted it along with the car Maruti Swift from the area of Naraingarh Chowk, Cheharta and seized 02 pistols along with 03 live rounds of .32 bore, 200 grams of heroin, 30,500/- rupees (drug money).
The arrested accused has been produced in the honorable court and a police remand of 2 days has been obtained and his backward and forward links will be ascertained through detailed questioning from this side.
The police officer said that his age is around 23 years. And it used to bring illegal arms from UP and supply them in Punjab. It has another accomplice who is being raided. He will also be caught soon. The police officer said that a case has already been registered against him.
