ADGP today by Lokpal Punjab Justice Vinod Kumar Sharma. Inspector Kesar Singh, a President’s medal winner posted as Reader of Lokpal, was honored on his retirement.
Appreciating the services of Kesar Singh, Justice Sharma said that Kesar Singh has performed his services with full dedication and achieved valuable achievements during his tenure. It should also be mentioned here that S. Kesar Singh completed his 38 years of service in Punjab Police with dedication and hard work and he received many medals especially 60 certificates of appreciation. Kesar Singh was awarded the President’s Medal in 2013 for his devotion to duty.
During his retirement function at Punjab Civil Secretariat-2, Lokpal Justice Sharma warmly congratulated Kesar Singh and wished him a successful, healthy and happy life after his retirement. Justice Sharma encouraged other colleagues of Kesar Singh to follow in his footsteps and make a valuable contribution towards their services. Justice Sharma further said that his (Kesar Singh) absence will always be felt by his colleagues after his retirement.
On this occasion, apart from others, Vibhu Raj IPS. ADGP Lokpal Punjab, Rajeev Parashar IAS Secretary Lokpal Punjab, Inderjit Kaushik Registrar Lokpal Punjab, Harbans Singh Secretary Minister/Lokpal Punjab and family members of Kesar Singh were present.
