The C919 is said to be the first narrow body passenger jet that China has produced. It meets international standards and is designed to compete with aircraft such as Boeing’s 737 and Airbus’s A320. The C919 has been given seats from 158 to 192 and its range has been told from 4.075 km to 5,555 km. The plane has been sold to China Eastern Airlines and its flights are said to be operational by the end of the first quarter or the beginning of the second quarter of the year.
