Rohtak- Punjab has suffered a lot due to floods. Meanwhile, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s big statement has come out. Chief Minister Khattar said that if the SYL canal had run today, Punjab would not have suffered. He said this while talking to reporters at the BJP’s state office in Rohtak’s Hooda Complex.

CM Khattar said that excess rainwater from Punjab has entered the SYL constructed in Haryana, due to which the areas of Ambala and Kurukshetra districts have been submerged in water. Both these districts were submerged due to incomplete SYL but Haryana did not blame Punjab.

‘Stop joking like a clown’

Manohar Lal vehemently said that some leaders are mocking like clowns that today we have water, so why don’t they ask us for water today. It is not appropriate to make such statements at this time. A person holding a constitutional office should never make light jokes.

‘This is an example of small thinking’

Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that the Delhi government is making accusations of drowning, it is an example of small thinking. A small-minded person might think that I should defend myself and hurt someone else. The Chief Minister also said that Haryana never spends money on the maintenance of ITO Barrage. This money was given by Indraprastha Power Plant till 2018. With the closure of the plant, the money stopped coming.
