Chhattisgarh: Naxalite encounter in Sukma, 3 soldiers including sub-inspector martyred

Chhattisgarh Three District Reserve Guard security personnel, including an assistant sub-inspector, were killed in an encounter with Naxalites in the insurgency-hit Sukma district on Saturday. Bastar Range Inspector General of Police (IG) P Sundarraj said the incident took place around 9 am on Saturday between Jagargunda and Kunded under Jagargunda police station area. The official further said that the deceased DRG-security personnel have been identified as ASI Ramuram Nag, assistant constable Kunjam Joga and constable Vanjam Bhima.
