On Friday, the information came out that Chetan Sharma has sent his resignation to BCCI Secretary Jai Shah and he has accepted the resignation.

Chetan Sharma became the Chief Selector of BCCI again on 7 January 2023. This was his second term, but this time his term ended in 40 days. The surprising thing is that Chetan Sharma has to lose the post in both terms. In the previous term, the BCCI removed the entire committee after a poor performance in the T20 World Cup.
