New Delhi: NIA has achieved great success in the case related to the activities of PFI going on in Rajasthan and the agenda of violent extremism. On completing the major part of the investigation, the NIA on Monday filed a charge sheet against the 2 accused. This will curb the ongoing PFI agenda in Rajasthan. The two accused against whom the charge sheet has been filed were playing very clever tricks and planning against the country.

According to information, in this case Mohd Asif alias Asif of Kota, Rajasthan and Sadiq Saraf of Baran, Rajasthan have been booked under IPC sections 120B, 153A and UAPA sections 13, 17, 18, 18A and Charges have been framed under 18B. Both the accused are trained members of PFI.

It was reported by the NIA that both the accused were involved in the recruitment and radicalization of influential Muslim youths for the PFI to commit violent acts. At present, after the completion of the investigation in this case, a charge sheet has been filed against both of them.

The NIA stated that the accused radicalized innocent Muslim youth by making them believe that Islam was under threat in India. They were radicalizing the youth by talking of protecting Islam and establishing Islamic rule in India by 2047. The PFI cadres and the Muslim community were trained on the need to train themselves in the use of weapons.
